
Introduction to 3D Printing & Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
About
Teens and adults (ages 12+) are invited to register for this 4-session, introductory program on 3D printing and CAD (Computer-aided Design). Participants will learn the 3D modeling software Onshape and design their own MakerCoin in our 1st and 2nd sessions. Sessions 3 and 4 will cover the 3D printing software Cura and 3D printing hardware. All skill levels are welcome! Participants must bring their own laptop or Chromebook. A computer mouse is also highly recommended. Software installation instructions will be emailed to registered participants before each session. Free. Pre-registration is required. Registered participants are expected to attend all four sessions. Please do not register unless you are able to attend all four sessions.
