Join us for our Thursday 11am Alameda Beach Cleanup! Since June of 2020 we have organized this regular weekly Thursday morning beach cleanup here in Alameda. We hope you will join us whenever you can. The more the merrier! We meet at 11am on the beach across from McDonalds on Shore Line Drive and (after a beachside photo op) clean up beach trash for up to an hour. Please bring a garbage bag/bucket and gloves. Extra points if you bring a container for recyclables and use reusable supplies (gardening gloves instead of disposable for example). This is great way to help our community - by improving the health of the Bay and its wildlife. Plus it's a good excuse for a bit of socialization and fresh air! Hope to see some new folks there!
