Little Explorers: Fall Fun!
About
Little Explorers is celebrating fall! Make a mess-free painted leaf, shoot pom-pom spiders onto sticky webs, and enjoy some not-so spooky fun. Little Explorers is a monthly creativity-based program for families with toddlers and preschoolers. Join us on the first Friday of the month to explore new ways to play and learn! Free, with limited capacity. Vehicle parking may be limited. A small number of strollers may be parked outside the Children's Room; no strollers in the Community Room, please. Sensory Notes: - Sound: Little Explorers may become noisy with lots of play. Let the librarian know if you would like to borrow a pair of ear defenders for your child. - Visuals: Little Explorers will have different stations for play. Bright colors and lots of little friends may make the area visually busy. - Texture : Different stations may include squishy paint, sticky tape, and other unusual textures. Children are always free to skip these activities if they prefer. For accessibility accommodations (ex. ASL), please fill out the online form at sccld.org/accessibility 7+days prior to the event. If you need assistance with the form, speak with a staff member at your local library, call (408) 540-3945, or email us at ask@sccl.org .
