Have you visited the District Vibes exhibit honoring the contributions of Washingtonians to American History? Did you know that a few of the Washingtonians in the exhibit have been featured on postage stamps? What Washingtonian would you honor on a postage stamp? Take a tour of the exhibit at MLK LIbrary, and then join MaryBeth Wagner, Adult Programs Manager at the Smithsonian National Postal Museum to learn about the stamp design process and who can submit ideas. Afterwards, test your creative skills and design your own stamp or postcard. Join us in the MLK Library Great Hall to explore the exhibit before the workshop in the MLK labs on the lower level.
