This once-a-year event allows City of Falls Church residents (proof of residency required) to drop off:Gas powered lawn equipment (no large ride on or commercial mowers), working household tools and working small appliancesHazardous Household Waste (HHW) such as household cleaners, automotive fluids, herbicides, pesticides, oil-based or latex paints, fluorescent bulbs, and petroleum based products.Electronics like computer monitors, laptops, desktops, TV's, printers and toners. Full list of accepted items. No kitchen appliances are accepted.Paper shredding -- up to three boxes. Other items:Bicycles Clothing, accessories (like belts and purses), textiles (like bed sheets, towels, and curtains), and clean scrap clothsSmall kitchen appliances in good working order
