The City is excited to participate in National Coastal Cleanup Day again this year on Saturday, September 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This annual event is more than just a cleanup—it’s a celebration of community spirit and environmental stewardship! We’ll be hosting various volunteer cleanup events throughout Fremont to help keep our local creeks and waterways free from litter and debris. Registration is now open through our Coastal Cleanup Day webpage. Be sure to register early, as spaces fill up quickly. Join us as we roll up our sleeves to protect our local creeks and waterways. By reducing waste and protecting our natural resources, we can make a real difference. Last year, 201 volunteers collected 1,620 pounds of trash, 318 pounds of recyclables, and 200 pounds of compostable material. Let’s work together to achieve an even greater impact this year!
