Making Stories
About
Children ages 8 to 12 are invited to join us on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 3:30-5 pm to write, illustrate, make, and tell your own stories. This is a workshop/club, where kids can work alone, in pairs, or in small groups to write and illustrate stories. Do a fun writing or drawing game, follow a prompt, free-write, or illustrate. Create a book, a zine, a comic, a story, a kamishibai, a play, a poem, or whatever! We'll set a date for people who want to read aloud their finished stories and celebrate, and we welcome stories to be added into the library collection. Drop in, no registration required.
