Bring up to 15 standard file boxes or 15 paper bags of documents for secure, on-site shredding. Proof of residency is required to participate. Before you arrive, please follow these simple steps: Remove all documents from binders and binder clips, as these items can damage shredding equipment. Place your documents in file boxes or paper bags. Store the boxes or bags in your trunk for quick and easy handoff during the drive-thru process. What’s accepted:Paper documents with staples, paperclips, rubber bands Credit cards and gift cards (must be packaged separately) What’s not accepted:Batteries, electronics, matches, metal objects, cardboard Binders, binder clips, CDs, DVDs, x-rays, plastic sleeves, pens, e-waste, or any non-paper garbage This event is for Los Altos Hills residents only.
