
Teddy Bear Picnic Storytime at Huddart Park

Join us for a special Teddy Bear Picnic Storytime at Huddart Park! We will read stories in English and Spanish, sing and dance along to fun rhymes and songs, and decorate your very own teddy bear to take home (while supplies last)! Enjoy a picnic of light refreshments with your new teddy bear friend and make your own teddy bear headband to match. You can also win a bear-y special prize for completing our outdoors scavenger hunt! This program is for children and families. This program is hosted by Woodside and Portola Valley Libraries but will take place at the Oak Area of Huddart Park . What to Bring : Please bring a picnic blanket so that you can sit on the ground comfortably. There will be a limited number of picnic blankets available at the park. Location : Huddart Park, Oak Area , 1100 Kings Mountain Road, Woodside, CA Driving Directions : Kings Mountain Road is a winding mountain road frequently used by cyclists. Please drive slowly and exercise caution. Take Highway 280 to the Woodside/CA-84 W exit. Turn westbound towards Woodside. Proceed through the town of Woodside approximately 1 mile on Woodside Road/Hwy84. Turn right at Kings Mountain Road. Proceed up the hill to the park main entrance for about 2 miles. Enter the park on the right, then proceed through the entry kiosk—participants do not need to pay the park entry fee for this program. At the stop sign, go right and follow the road to the end at the Oak Area.
