About
***Note that we'll be meeting across from Site 4 (the Mastodon Restoration Site)!*** The City of Fremont, Environmental Services Division is recruiting volunteers to help with Habitat Restoration at Sabercat Historical Park . This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment and to earn community service hours . Our primary tasks will be removing non-native (including invasive) plants, removing old flagging tape and plant protectors, installing larger plant protection for native plants, and sheet mulching. Some volunteers will transfer dirt to sandbags and transport them up to the solarization area at Quema Drive Entrance. Other tasks will be performed as needed. Please read the Volunteer Guidelines , which you will need to acknowledge you have read in order to register for the activity. Location Sabercat Historical Park, Across from Site 4.
