Woodworking for Tweens: From the Animal Room to the Woodshop
About
Bat houses, bird houses, and bee houses, oh my! How can we bring our knowledge of local ecology into the woodshop? We'll start this session with our Animal Room staff, learning how we can be better neighbors to our local species. Then we'll move into the woodshop, and using the drill press, bandsaw, and a range of hand tools, we'll design and build small structures to support local wildlife.
