Come explore Mori Point with the San Mateo County Libraries and the Golden Gate National Park Conservancy! Enjoy a guided walk through this landscape, held sacred by local Indigenous people, as we read selections from Dr. Jessica Hernandez's Fresh Banana Leaves and share a conversation along the trail. 30 free giveaway copies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. The group walk will begin at 11 AM. Please register here to participate. Otherwise, enjoy grabbing a new library card, checking out books, and learning about local landscapes at Golden Gate National Park Conservancy Roving Ranger and the SMCL Book Van! Meet at the Mori Point trailhead at Mori Point Rd and Bradford Way in Pacifica. This event takes place outside. Please wear sturdy walking shoes and be sure to bring water, layers, and sun protection.
