His artistic journey began early, evolving from childhood sketches to formal studies at Prince George’s Community College, the University of Maryland, and the Corcoran Institute. Nick’s diverse background includes service in the U.S. Army and experience as an armed security contractor. Beyond his security career, he is an active musician—fronting the band "Nick of Time"—and a multi-disciplinary visual artist whose landscape paintings an
